The North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission is part of the City and District of North Vancouver and was created to fulfill the municipalities’ recreation and culture responsibilities.

The commission plays an important role in improving the health and well-being of all individuals, families, and communities. It works with service providers to proactively respond to indoor and outdoor recreation and culture needs. The commission focuses on immigrants and residents who are under-served or face barriers in terms of accessing quality recreation and culture opportunities.
