November 16, 23, and 25, 2021 –
In collaboration with Impact North Shore colleagues and a community-led design team, NSIIP convened a series of 3 multilingual community dialogues exploring the impacts of anti-Asian Racism across North Shore communities. Over 30 community members of Asian descent joined us in supportive community settings to share their stories and experiences of anti-Asian racism in their language of choice (Farsi, Mandarin and English).
Key themes emerging from the community dialogues were summarized in a report with a focus of capturing recommendations for how to work together to prevent anti-Asian racism and better support victims of hate across the North Shore.
