This workshop event brought together over 27 participants an opportunity to learn more about the needs and vulnerabilities of a growing number of temporary permit holders (including temporary foreign workers, international students, refugee claimants, visitors, and seniors with Super Visas) living on the North Shore.
Presenter Masha Rademakers (Impact North Shore) spoke about shifts in Canada’s immigration policies, new federal pathways to permanency for temporary residents living, working, and studying in North Shore communities, and opportunities to support these valuable community members.
This workshop was part 1 of 2-series workshop hosted in collaboration with Impact North Shore.
