Date: October 24, 2015
Venue: North Vancouver District Library
The NVDPL and North Vancouver School District #44 are holding a Community Unconference on Saturday, October 24 on the theme of “connection,” “acceptance,” and “community.”
Join us at Capilano Library on Saturday, October 24 from 10:00am-12:30pm.
What is an Unconference?
It’s an open and informal community discussion, where all participants set the agenda, are invited to share their thoughts, opinions, and expertise, or just come to listen. Unconference discussions sessions are decided by attendees on the day of the event! Join us if you are interested in sharing your thoughts about connection, acceptance and community on the North Shore. There will be refreshments, experienced facilitators to support the morning’s discussions, and a community art project.
After, you can stay for the screening of the Teen Short Film Competition Finalists from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
